What is EA FC 25 Team of the Season (TOTS)?

The EA FC 25 Team of the Season (TOTS) is an annual promotion in EA Sports FC 25 that celebrates the best-performing players from the 2024-2025 football season. These players receive special upgraded cards in Ultimate Team, reflecting their outstanding contributions to their clubs. The promotion typically runs for several weeks.

During the event, packs, Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), and Objectives offer players chances to unlock TOTS items. The cards have significantly boosted stats compared to their base versions, making them highly sought after in Ultimate Team. Additionally, FUT Champions and Division Rivals rewards often include TOTS players, further increasing engagement.

EA FC 25 Team of the Season (TOTS) release date

EA FC 25 Team of the Season will start at the end of April, most likely friday 25th of April. Another possibility is a week earlier on the 18th of April.

We will start off with the EA FC 25 Team of the Season Community team, followed by the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, and finally the Ultimate EA FC 24 Team of the Season. All the major releases will be on fridays. In between the major league releases, the minor leagues such as the Eredivisie and MLS will be released, often on sunday.

Compared to EA FC 24 above, we expect to see a lot of changes in the Ultimate EA FC 25 Team of the Season (TOTS). Bellingham is almost a certainty, and so in Vinicius Jr. Kylian Mbappé has also been doing better recently, but its hard to measure if he will make it. Goalkeeper wise we expect either Ederson or Courtois to make a return. In defense we feel like Virgil van Dijk is a given. Another one we feel will make it is Lamine Yamal, given how deciding his performance has been for Barcelona.

Most likely the voting rounds for the community EA FC 25 Team of the Season (TOTS) will start on monday the 7th of April. Followed by the Premier League voting on the monday after that. Every other voting round will follow on the mondays to come in April and May, closing with voting for the Serie A TOTS. The final Ultimate EA FC 24 Team of the Season will be picked by EA Sports itself.
