EA FC 25 Skill Move: Stepover

The stepover has been in the game for a couple of years, and each time, it proves to be a very powerful skill to put into your gameplay. It's easy to execute and very versatile, so the stepover is one of the best in the game right now.

Due to its speed boost, you can use the stepover to create momentum in your attacks. But what makes the stepover really shine is that you can react to your opponent's defense. If your opponent moves left, you can simply adjust the stepover to go right.

The stepover is a minimum 2* skill move, so most EA FC 25 players can perform the move. But players with higher-rated agility and dribbling can perform the moves with a higher degree of accuracy. Thereby, the stepover can also be completed in reverse motion.

To perform the stepover, you use the right analog stick and point it in the same direction your player is moving. Move the right analog stick (R3) a quarter downwards to perform the stepover to the right. Move the right analog stick (R3) a quarter upwards to perform the stepover to the left. To perform the stepover in reverse motion, simply reverse the motion with the right analog stick (R3).

EA FC 25 Skill Move: Flair Nutmeg Pass

The flair nutmeg pass is quite new to EA FC, but it's already becoming one of the best ways to break open your opponent's defense. The animation is so quick your opponent will have great difficulty defending it. It allows you to quickly change the direction of your attack and strike before your opponent can react.

To perform the flair nutmeg pass, you want to hold down L1+R1 for PlayStation or LB+RB for Xbox and aim the right analog stick in the direction you want the action to go, but the magic doesn't end there. To complete it, you must press the pass button while the skill move is performing.

The flair nutmeg pass is a 4* skill move, so not every player can perform it. But it sure is worth it to get a player so you're able to use this powerful skill.

EA FC 25 Skill Move: McGeady Cancel

The next skill on the list is the McGeady cancel, which is most effective for players on the wing. It allows you to suddenly change direction to get a tap back or slow down your play. The one downside is that the McGeady cancel can only be performed by a player with 5* skill moves.

It takes two steps to perform the McGeady cancel. Firstly, you need to perform the McGeady spin, which is done by flicking the right analog stick to the right and then flicking the stick up or down, depending on which direction you want to go.

To evolve the McGeady spin into the McGeady cancel, you need to cancel the skill move in between. So after completing the first step, you press L2+R2 for PlayStation or LB+RB for Xbox to cancel the animation, after which you use the right analog stick to choose a direction to exit the animation.

EA FC 25 Skill Move: Drag to heel

The drag-to-heel sounds pretty straightforward, but it is rather hard to utilize correctly. However, after some training it proves to be a valuable tool to fool the opponent's wingbacks and create a scoring opportunity. You'll need a player with at least 4* skill moves to perform the drag to heel.

To perform the drag to heel by holding L1 for PlayStation or LB for Xbox, turn the right analog stick (R3) to how you are running. After that, quickly flick the right analog stick (R3) up or down, depending on how you want the skill to move.

Like the McGeady spin, it is also possible to cancel the drag to heel. You can do this by holding L2+R2 for PlayStation or LB+RB for Xbox, after which you use the left analog stick (L3) to choose which direction you want to cancel the skill move.

EA FC 25 Skill Move: (Reverse) Elastico

Last but not least is the (reverse) elastico. This is an old-time classic in the FIFA and EA FC games and will never disappoint. It is probably the most straightforward skill, but that doesn't mean it is useless. The elasticos enable you to quickly change the position of the ball to surprise the opponent with a sudden shot.

To perform an elastico, simply roll the right analog stick clockwise from right to left, and to perform the reverse elastico, roll the right analog stick counterclockwise, from left to right. Although the controls to this skill move are easy, you still need a 5* skill move player to perform the move.

And those were the five best skill moves to help you get your attacks to the next level. If you can utilize these moves in your offense, your opponents won't know what hit them, and the goals won't stop coming.
