EWC finalist Young signs with Team Gullit

We are happy to announce that Gabriel "Young" Freitas has signed with Team Gullit. Young finished second at the Esports World Cup this summer and is considered one of the best players in EA FC 24. Team Gullit coached Young two seasons ago when he played for Atlanta United.

The 21-year-old from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, played for Tuzzy E-Sports before. Freitas is the second Brazilian ever to play for Team Gullit after Henrique "Zezinho" Lempke, who was part of our roster in 2018. Coach Jelte Golbach is extremely excited for Young to be added to its roster.

"He fits perfectly within the team, and we have coached him extensively in the past, so this feels like the next natural step", Golbach explains. "Young has proven himself as one of the brightest minds in the game, having won one of the FIFA 23 qualifiers and doing extremely well in the EWC this year. We expect Young to continue his successful journey in EA FC 25, and we will do everything possible to ensure he can dominate every EA FC 25 tournament, including the World Cup."
